      Pros

      The people are nice and the middle management seems to really care about their employees.

      Cons

      Upper management tends to care less about how their decisions impact employees' lives, as they are focused on the bottom line and profits. Examples include not letting most employees work remotely, cutting staff and retirement benefits.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
