Pros
The company is growing steadily. The sample quantity is increasing up to 2.500 now daily. Benefits include medical insurance (rates based on pay), vision, dental. Paid vacation is negotiable. There are effectively 2 shifts in the main lab with the morning shift being the one you want to work for. Pay is excellent on par with most hospital technologist pay. It's great for a 2nd job but not as primary.
Cons
Be extremely cautious and consider your options before coming to work at accureference. The work environment is extremely toxic and will cause you unneeded stress due to the mismanagement of the main lab. ONE SUPERVISOR TYPES ONLY IN CAPS FOR ALL EMAILS AND MEMOS. If you walk into the breakroom, it's full of ALL CAPS MEMOS IN RED ALL OVER THE WALLS. Another supervisor just shows up whenever she wants to because she has 3 jobs then lectures the lab on timeliness. There is minimal training. Your training will consist purely of passed on hands on knowledge. The rest of the SOPs are package inserts.
