      Pros

      It's busy, so you're always moving. The pay is okay. Customers can be pleasant. If you like chaos in your day, it's a good job for you.

      Cons

      As a store associate you're expected to know a lot. Training is... Lackluster. Very sink-or-swim. High turnover because it's a hard job. The health insurance isn't great either. Schedule is all over the place, some days you close, some days you open, and other days you're right in the middle of the day. Often made to feel inferior by other staff/management.

      Pros

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      Pros

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
