Pros

Stable income if your role still exists in the long run. You get 2 days WFH. Medical benefit is quite good. For instance, you get free body check.

Cons

No job is perfect. But really think about why they are giving you the so-called above-market salary for such a data-entry job. This organization is extremely hierarchical. You pretty much won't even get a chance to talk to anyone outside of your team or your direct manager. Directors are sitting comfortably in their own room and they won't even look you in the eye and say hi to you if you are not at manager grade or above. This job is not bad but really think about what you have signed up for. You are just expected to do things exactly the way you are told and 90% of the tasks are data entry tasks which a secondary school graduate can handle. Because all work is so standardized here there is absolutely no room for you to do anything differently. (honestly do not even attempt to try to do things differently, it's just like government job) Because all tasks are expected to be done the same way, the only way for you to stand out is by taking more work or projects. The same applies to the managers. Some managers are really aggressive and they are just using you to get what they want, some would even take your credits. Some would have you work on weekends or public holiday. I am really unlucky to have a manger like that and someone who is super toxic. You can also feel among the managers they are really competitive with each other. If you are really lucky to have a good manger. You can have work-life-balance but that is really rare. Most managers here work like 10+ hours a day (except the expats).
