Pros
good pay per hour, In the first store I've worked in (Archway) I really had a great time and a great team who supported me and taught me everything I needed to know, also Archway store manager is the best manager one can wish for (unlike the one mentioned below).
Cons
modern slavery, you are paid well but are overworked, There is a particular store manager in London (Store in L.V., brand new) who's been in the company for more than 25 years and who is famous for cutting the hours you have worked from the system. I've never believed it until it happened to me (He's famous for having an attitude but he was kind to me, reason why I wouldn't believe the rumours). To this day I still haven't received the money for the hours I've worked for (who have magically been erased from the aldi app but I have the screenshots) and a lot of colleagues told me similar stories about him but looks like he gets away with these ILLEGAL tricks he uses to get juicier monthly capital Inflow vs Outflow ratio.
