Mentally draining work environment - Even after the the weeks of training you will still not know how to do everything. Every call will be different. A lot of the calls you get are regarding IRS issues, tech issues, and other bizarre situations you may have no idea about. You are expected to take a large number of calls, plus work on issues sent through a chat portal, pretty much impossible. Some customers are extremely rude. Some calls can take hours to complete. It is pretty much a fancy call center, which they may not disclose upfront in the job interview. It is not easy to move up within the company. All your breaks will be timed. You are expected to always portray this almost fake “positivity.” Bad work to life balance. Most people do not make it past the 1year mark.
