Pros

Weekly pay, vending machines, toilet roll in toilets, some nice people.

Cons

IT team treated like company cleaners. Swore at constantly from management to ownership. No IT processes, people raise tickets for convenience without any justification for why they raise tickets(desk move so i can be near my friend). Extremely poor tickets issued with very minimal information such as “fix printer” no location or what printer is effected. No respect for the current workload for IT, people in the office speak to IT like they're worthless for the company and an inconvenience. Treading on egg shells every time you have a job on someones pc. Have to work around the user and not around your current workload. Absolutely no covid restrictions, massive open office with no air con or windows. Get questioned on why you are walking around the office fixing equipment. Managers from different departments sit in on IT meetings as we get accused of not doing anything. Not trusted to enter the server room unless hand held. Extremely low pay, they want 10 year experienced infrastructure engineers for the same pay as a 1st liner. Bailiffs throwing a tablet on your table with no prior warning and a 30 minute deadline to fix the issue.

DCBL welcome any feedback from our current and former colleagues and strive to resolve any issues identified. Our open-door management policy provides ample opportunity for all employees to raise issues and concerns so that these can be addressed and resolved in a timely and appropriate way. The IT team are integral to our operational effectiveness across the business and as such is involved in all aspects of our continued development, which has produced some excellent advancements in the way our IT team support business operations. Whilst our face to face IT support model is not for everyone, our unprecedented growth and our ability to support business growth demonstrates the effectiveness of the IT team. The comments made are both disappointing, factually incorrect and not a true reflection of either the IT team or the business, however, to understand your concerns in greater detail we would welcome the opportunity to discuss some of the comments made. If you would like to take this opportunity, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0161 639 0598. Kind regards, Darren Connor

Pros

Arguably none, I will say. I suppose their PC systems are alright and work well and my fellow collections colleagues were nice. But nothing else really.

Cons

This company has no support options especially if you struggle with a certain aspect of the job, lacks any grace to give you any guidance and extra training beyond call listening - which they promised and strived to offer (but didn’t give)- before threatening your employment for supposed not hitting targets when they keep moving the goal posts, changing their process every five seconds, and asking you to do certain things their way and then when you do it as they say you should, they have a go. And good luck to you if you’re employed via another company with DCBL as an outsource client. Even if you have a good relationship with the company you’re physically on the payroll for and work to their standards, then DCBL won’t hesitate to make you redundant. Luckily I resigned to not give them the satisfaction but others haven’t been so lucky. I’m not the only one who voiced these concerns and I doubt I’ll be the last.
