Pros

There are some interesting projects with a nice team. Good first place to learn if you're starting your career. In most teams there's room to learn from mistakes without getting punished for it.

Cons

Career progression seems to be slowing down compared to previous years. Fake work time flexibility and autonomy culture. There's rigid control of in office presence. Evaluation metrics for raises or career progression are not clear and sometimes are applied without much sense. You could be the best developer and do everything right but if you are slightly below the office attendance you might get perks cut and not get a raise in that year regardless of everything else that you did. Seems like a soft layoff attempt.

Pros

Good environment Good people Good work-life balance Good workload Good career progression (specially if you are a strong dev coming out of college) Can take responsibilities if you ask for it, even if you are surrounded with more senior teammates.

Cons

Two days in office (three for entry level devs) - I strongly prefer full remote, but office(Porto) is good and people are great. Among the "best companies", salary leaves a little bit to be desired.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that the balance we promote, particularly in terms of working hours and opportunities for juniors, is appreciated. Regarding management and engineering standards, we’re constantly refining our processes to ensure that we not only meet but exceed expectations across all levels of experience. Your point on career progression and raises for senior employees is noted, and we’re actively working on creating clearer growth paths to ensure everyone feels valued and recognized for their contributions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Pros

Working for the company offers several benefits, including a flat organizational structure, a culture centered on Agile frameworks, flexibility, quality, and self-management, as well as full autonomy over professional development supported by a dedicated budget and continuous training opportunities.

Cons

The drawbacks include a hybrid work model that might feel overly restrictive compared to the company's flexible culture, a challenging career progression where technical growth is less linear due to roles being closely tied to development teams, and slowing salary increases that, while still market-aligned, have become less competitive over time.
