No accountability, limited growth, not a team environment

Incompetency and laziness is accepted in many groups

In groups and lack of simple decision making.

Non inclusive culture that favor a few.

Difficult to get promoted and no clear guidance provided on what is required to be promoted. Might have been easier if I had joined fresh out of college instead of joining mid-career.

Lots of dog and pony show meetings with no real purpose. Constant changing of the boss of the group (none of whom have any experience in the specialty).

Easy to plateau Likely need to move to places like Midland, Anchorage, or more remote areas to progress quicker Bureaucratic

too frequent reorganizations might change overall strategy directions

Too many expat. Local can't climb the ladder.
