Pros

If you put in the work, it is very rewarding. There are growth opportunities, and the work performed has a clear purpose and impact. Leadership is supportive and maintains an open door policy. Good mentorship is available if you are interested. Most coworkers are hardworking, collaborative, and genuinely kind.

Cons

Like many workplaces, some individuals can get drawn into negative conversations or adopt a pessimistic outlook within the department. It is best to stay focused, maintain professionalism, and avoid engaging in that environment.

Pros

A lot of talented folks in the work-force.

Cons

Extreme toxic politics and favoritism. HR practices the maximum possible hypocritical standards, while preaching to employees with cliche trainings. Growth programs such as nextgen leaders are not broadly communicated, and there is limited visibility across the employee base regarding eligibility, nomination, and selection processes. Many employees are not aware that these programs exist. Selection is only by proximity to leadership or informal connections rather than clearly defined and consistently applied merit criteria. These tools are just reserved to apply favoritism with fake merit scores with no fairness and consistency or equal opportunities for all. Lack of consistent application of HR policies and processes across different levels of the organization. HR shows blind obedience to every leader who only stays for 2 years or less, and not to the company or employees who are the backbone for the company. Performance and merit are ignored, there is a very visible inner circle around certain leaders, and their actions loudly and intentionally say favoritism is their brand. No flexibility for employees with childcare, elder care obligations, or medical accommodation, and such requests are subject to heightened scrutiny or inconsistent approval processes, or passive aggressive retaliation. Lower level management is pressured into taking serious high risk decisions, while there is a lot of hesitancy among most of leaders to take formal accountability for compliance related decisions, with clear sign offs. Lot of closed-door, unapproachable and unavailable leaders, who never show up for client meetings, compliance meetings or any other high stake meetings important for the business. They hired a top heavy highly paid CI team, who conducts very loud meetings in shared areas, with zero care how their loud meetings in shared spaces ruin focus and disrupt everyone else's work. These folks do not contribute to any department work and help out, or resolve any real problems. Instead of spending huge budget for such teams, they should spend that budget to get more licenses for software, or equipment, or hiring for core teams who actually bring the money and add value to the company.

Pros

Supportive PM group. Strong teamwork more like Misery team building make tough days manageable.

Cons

Catalent has become an extremely difficult place to work due to the complete lack of strong, consistent leadership. There is little to no clear direction from upper management, and decisions often feel reactive rather than strategic. Employees are left to navigate constant uncertainty without support, guidance, or a clear vision for the future. Layoffs have become frequent and seem to happen without transparency or accountability. Instead of addressing the root causes of operational issues, leadership often shifts blame onto employees. Teams are expected to deliver results while dealing with understaffing, unclear expectations, and constantly changing priorities. This creates an environment where employees feel disposable rather than valued. Morale across teams has suffered significantly. Many talented, hardworking individuals have been let go, while those remaining are left to carry increased workloads without recognition or reassurance. It feels like there is no stability or long-term future within the company, which makes it difficult to stay motivated or invested. What is most frustrating is the lack of ownership from leadership. Rather than acknowledging structural and organizational failures, employees are often blamed for problems that stem from poor planning, lack of communication, and inconsistent management decisions. This erodes trust and creates a culture of fear and uncertainty. Catalent has the potential to be a strong organization, but without accountable leadership, clear direction, and genuine support for employees, it continues to decline. Until leadership takes responsibility and prioritizes transparency, stability, and employee well-being, it will remain a challenging and discouraging place to work
