At the time through my employment, leadership went through multiple 'strategic' work force reductions. One specifically targeted IT, which was simply a cost cutting exercise with no plan to address the projects and workload for the remaining employees. Leadership did not have the experience to go through such an exercise. Two years later, those leaders are gone and new leaders are brought in, rinse and repeat.

The work life balance could be better.
