Bad Management. No Direction. Tricky Service

Pros

The only thing good is you have the chance to meet Warren Buffett, in a relatively close distance and with just about 2-300 people in the room

Cons

Every year the annual sales meeting, the management just voiced out those good, very good, damn good so called performance, but they were absolute results, not compared to the competitors. No direction from the management, to give you idea how the company can survive in the constantly changing environment. Do not forget that the company is in a sunset industry. The products (distribution circuit) suck. Not even any person in the company could tell what the differentiations between those similar circuits. Some are sold at higher price and cannot tell why they worth that.

Pros

Managers don’t really manage, a lot of free time as a result. They pretend they know what’s going on by playing micro-management once in a while, but you can easily fool them around because they actually don’t really know what’s going on. Easy task, no stress, work-life balance.

Cons

Low pay, poor benefits, pathetic amount of PTO, terrible localization, white American arrogance, HR, billing and accounting departments are a joke (tax return errors, employees’ reimbursement transferred to a wrong account, etc.)

Pros

Basic Salary was fair, work-life balance.

Cons

As a CSR (Client Services Representative), you're not responsible only for CS related jobs; but the sales, marketing, event mgmt, I.T., office admin, accounts, manager's assistant, even the queries regarding newsroom will come to you, cause there's NO SUPPORT. The business is solely rely on newswires services (declining industry...) not much other products to sell. The compulsory add-on are meaningless and confusing clients. Annual bonus was embarrassing. Stop PAYING for 5-star review.
