I interviewed at Business Wire (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
It was good they were very responsive and wanted to interview immediately. I felt like the questions were pretty standard for this job and I felt comfortable answering them. I was also given time to really think about my answer and provide the best responses possible.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me what was a difficult thing I had to deal with and how did I get through it.
1. Initial intake with recruiter. Hard to screw up.
2. Interview with a Senior Engineer -> Mostly conversational, dove into past projects, past jobs, some basic technical discussion.
3. Red Flag interview "IT Consultant" -> Mckinsey looking shark advisor. Very smart. Went completely off script. Said he was there to advise everyone at the company. Seems like a very expensive consultant there to try and explain how to dig themselves out of the giant hole they were in. Went completely off-script. Was supposed to be more like the previous interview but just asked me random technical questions that had nothing to do with my job or past performance, past projects. Mostly new-grad questions you'd get out of college. So study those up, cause I didn't and failed. Asked about language of choice, I said I learned on C and he asked a few random obscure C questions. If you do this interview, just say Python or study up on a language like you're a new grad to pass.

How does DNS work? How does the web server work? How does the load balancer work? What's a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dup_(system_call)?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Business Wire
Interview
During the interview process, I encountered biased and inappropriate questions unrelated to the job or my qualifications. The internal HR team seemed more focused on personal details than skills, which felt unprofessional and concerning. Due to this experience, I chose to withdraw from consideration.
