Pros

The smart people that do the real work; those same people should leave Borg Warner and watch how well it stays afloat.

Cons

Your vacation days are not your vacation days; you will learn this again when you leave as they treat you like a slave by restricting you further after submitting your two-week notice. Cummins did not do any of that to me when I left them. The leadership that does not do any actual work is probably the biggest reason to run from this place. The DEI policies that are painted on the wall did not hold water when I pushed the envelope. The published quotes by Frederic Lissalde that are clearly lies as I pushed the envelope only to leave after a year with nothing changing for anyone. Career opportunities are null if you are already well into your life. Going back to school for an engineering degree to meet Borg's requirements to be in an engineering role while seeing grand mistakes from those who were already in the role was amazing to learn. (eg. Rushed PCBs that end up being ewaste along with the time wasted to discover the PCB was useless.) I can use my time elsewhere if Borg does not want my existing experience. I am willing to bet everyone who has a degree paid for it which makes it really hard to trust academic honesty when it comes to leadership; you never see any real skill, just people manipulation. I also highly doubt Joseph Fadool will do any better. I would love to see an apology regarding my employment experience, but we know how the real world operates. Also to one of your engineers: Adding capacitance to a MOSFET gate will SLOW IT DOWN. It will absolutely not "clean up the signal." The short circuit test data is sketchy at best after hearing what I have heard. It is sad when it feels like people just want numbers regardless if there is actual trust in the collection of the data.

Pros

flexible hours, nice facilities, nice people, decent pay.

Cons

I feel like I could have been better utilized, I don't think there was a path to a full time offer present.
