Pros
The Owner and her family are just the most amazing , generous and supportive people I have ever worked for. the hotel is busy but not overwhelmed, the nights were quiet and there was always more than enough time to get the workload done, and still have time to study or work on projects either personal, or around the hotel .
Cons
a bit of a struggle dealing with the homeless at night, trying to get rooms, frequently stealing small items from around the hotel and lobby or trying to sneak in and find places to sleep. You never arrive on time to enjoy the bar and resteraunt they frequently close before the night shift starts. and the hotel has a very small staff so you rarely see any other staff, or supervisors unless you make an explicit point to come in early, stay late or come in on time off to see them.

The people they hire are all wonderful people, who have a love for what they do. When people have a passion for what they are doing, it makes for a wonderful workplace.
Cons
Long hours, low pay for all the work and extra time that goes into the position.

I started getting sick and because I worked with people who's families had immunity problems I couldn't stay at work. 😒

The individual contributors and managers here support you. And nearly everyone is just nice to work with. A breath of fresh air.
Cons
The Technology Management organization has become a culture of fear and CYA since new leadership has arrived. It can happen sometimes when there is new leadership but I’ve never seen anything like this. Since salaries here are low, people stay because they like their coworkers and we had a great culture of support and positivity. But now good people are leaving, others are being thrown under the bus, and they’ve started layoffs. Do not work here.

Benefits are good. People in Housekeeping are nice. there's a once a month free meal.
Cons
Management is ridiculous. They would hire you and then call you off for the 3 days and they will still hire more people. They time you like "you need to be finished by this hour", but managers don't exactly know how to clean a room. they just know how to dictate. white people who work there seems nice, but later on they are kindof racist towards other races.
