Fast Innovation, Heavy Impact on Support Teams

Pros

The Customer Care team in Ukraine is composed of talented, multilingual, and dedicated professionals who genuinely care about delivering high-quality work. Many team members show strong commitment and resilience in a demanding environment.

Cons

Due to a strong focus on continuous innovation and increasing market competition, new products and software updates sometimes appear to be released under tight timelines. In my experience, certain versions felt insufficiently tested, which led to recurring technical issues. As a result, customers frequently contacted support, creating a very high workload and significant stress for Customer Care agents based in Ukraine. Under pressure to meet performance expectations, local management tends to rely heavily on close performance monitoring and strict oversight. While likely intended to maintain standards, this approach can contribute to additional pressure for frontline teams.

Pros

- great colleagues - central location - many social clubs

Cons

- upper management has a huge gab to normal employees - management doesn't care about input to project timelines from the people actually doing the work - processes and approval limits make things super slow and tedious - even tough this is supposed to be a high tech company investment in proper development tools is very lack luster - CEO and his team are numbers people that do not understand the tech - possibilities to advance your job title and compensation near no existent

Pros

A globally recognized company with innovative products and strong branding in its domain. International colleagues who bring diversity of perspectives (at least at surface level).

Cons

- Diversity & Inclusion is just a buzzword: While there’s talk about D&I, the organization does not walk the talk. Favoritism and cultural bias influence decision-making, especially toward non-Danish, non-EU employees. Unfair treatment and favoritism: I witnessed (and experienced) decisions where high-performing employees were let go to make room for new hires favored by leadership—often recent graduates with little experience. No merit-based development: Growth and promotions seem based more on personal alignment with management than on contribution or capability. Asking for development or voicing suggestions often leads to being perceived as a "misfit." Power imbalance: Some leaders misuse their authority, and there is little psychological safety to speak up. Concerns raised are often dismissed or quietly penalized. Limited career progression: Unless you blend in perfectly with the dominant culture, it’s hard to move up. International professionals and those over a certain age may find themselves stagnating without explanation.
