The project:
This is an opportunity to work with Mace in Hong Kong, with a major client on a global IPMO. This significant programme of works with one of the most renowned client organisations has arisen through our unique IPMO approach.
This multi-year commission is a fantastic platform to help our people, and our clients people grow together and accelerate careers along with innovation at the heart of this program.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing, managing and implementing agreed HSW policies, processes and procedures.
- Developing, managing, implementing and driving best practice initiatives regionally, as part of the global HSW Plan.
- Managing day-to-day operational elements of the HSW function across regions to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and cohesion.
- Providing assurance and reporting against health and safety key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyzing HSW data from multiple sources to generate insights and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive consistency and continuous improvement in HSW performance.
- Escalating unresolved non-compliance issues promptly and effectively.
- Reviewing and advising on critical incident investigations to support effective resolution and learning.
- Tracking and driving timely completion of incident investigations by delivery partners and facilitating the sharing of lessons learned.
- Designing and delivering HSW training and communications to support awareness and capability building.
- Positioning, promoting, and protecting the Mace brand and our clients’ interests in relation to health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW).
- Ensuring compliance with the sector specific HSW training plan and KPI’s agreed with or assigned by the business or client.
You’ll need to have:
- Relevant experience in Asia and or Middle East.
- International construction experience is an advantage.
- Diploma qualified, or equivalent and be a member of a professional body is an advantage.
- Experience across construction sectors; supports HSW policies, standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Self-starter, confident working independently; drives HSW priorities and builds strong safety culture.
- Strong stakeholder engagement; collaborates across teams, clients, and international project environments.
- Effective communicator; delivers HSW training, manages priorities, and develops team capability.
