Overview:
The International Client Associate will provide efficient day to day planning and support to the Sales Director for business
development activities and the Client Relations Director for client servicing activities. The client/prospect base consists
primarily of institutional investors based in APAC (ex-Japan), investing in a range of pooled funds and segregated mandates.
The Client Associate will be based in Allspring’s Hong Kong office.
The role involves considerable co-ordination of activities across the client lifecycle to effectively deliver a very positive client
experience supporting the achievement of our business goals, delivering the highest standard of client experience in an
efficient and compliant manner.
The role encompasses both business development and client retention support including preparing marketing materials,
presentations, market research, preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly reports and commentaries, and the creation
of portfolio review material. Within these various activities, the individual must maintain a full understanding of compliance
implications and work within the processes and procedures of our organisation ensuring constructive teamwork and
communication, navigating internal channels to complete this role in an efficient and collaborative manner.
It is expected that the role will have some direct client interaction either through the delivery of reporting, participation in client
review meetings and engagement through client onboarding and maintenance.
(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required)
We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:
- Act as office based back-up to the Sales Directors and Client Relations Directors as their roles involve considerable travel,
including being a contact point for client and prospect queries on accounts, products, firm etc.
- Prepare the Directors for client/prospect meetings by gathering relevant market, industry or firm information.
- Coordinate and contribute to the completion of new business proposals and due diligence questionnaires.
- Assist in the coordination of office meetings, events and functions, attending as required.
- Produce and deliver client reports, presentations and portfolio review materials, collaborating with portfolio specialists and
investment team specialists on content and structure.
- Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of the internal CRM system, to ensure that up to date prospect, sales and client
information is stored.
- Responsible for the preparation and provision of portfolio performance and competitive firm analysis.
- May get involved in internal regular management reporting and project management as identified.
- Use good understanding of client needs and challenges to meet those needs by leveraging capabilities of the entire
organisation.
- Build strong relationships with teams across the business, such as legal, compliance, admin, marketing, to ensure effective
collaboration on all client related matters.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Local license if applicable
- Intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint and database management skills
- Minimum 1 year asset management experience, in a client service/sales support role OR 2 years asset management
experience in a client reporting, product or investment analyst role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good organisational and presentation skills
- Established knowledge and understanding of the investment Industry and investment products and services including
operational, compliance and legal aspects
- Good project management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ideally Salesforce
- Ability to work with accounting and performance systems will be an advantage (knowledge of FactSet and Morningstar
would be beneficial)
- Independent, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding, flexible team player with ability to work effectively across multiple business channels.
- Ability to work with senior management and in a client facing environment, maintaining the highest standards of
professional integrity and interaction at all times
- Must be effective at working closely with portfolio staff, product specialists, and other investment professionals, as well as
operational and support teams
