I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at homify (Berlin) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and well-structured. I first had an introductory call with the HR Manager, which focused on simple questions to get to know my background better. Afterwards, I had a second interview with the Global Sales Strategy Manager, where I presented a case study on how I would use homify’s services to pitch to a potential lead. Finally, HR reached out with a job offer, which I decided to decline as it did not align with my expectations. Overall, the process was smooth, clear, and relatively simple.

Question 1
Can you walk me through your professional background?
What motivated you to apply for this position at homify?
How would you structure a sales approach for a potential lead using homify’s services?
Can you give me a concrete example of a sales strategy you successfully implemented in the past?
The type of questions asked were completely off the mark, the interview gave me the impression of being more of a formal thing than really intended to understand who they had in front of them. I got the impression that they just needed chickens to squeeze into making 1,000 outbound calls a day and then send them home once they burnout.

Interview
Went well. HR is great. We had 3 rounds of chats with different people. I thought we had an agreement, but at the end management decided very differently. The whole process wasn't terrible, just not great.
