I am still in the interview process but I wanted to reflect my positive experience before finding out whether I get it or not (and potentially making my review bias).
I have had 3 phone screen/interviews. First with a recruiter and then with a couple of different managers in the tech department.
I have interviewed a lot recently and been asked to just reiterate what was on my resume, but that wasn't the case here. They asked questions that would actually give insight into how I'd do my job and not the definitions of things I'd never get to use the technical terms for anyways because I work with end-users and use layman's terms.
The interviews were very conversational and they were very clear about the role, expectations, and things to consider. I really appreciated how transparent they seemed to be, especially about the changing dynamics of the office after a merge.
Update: I was NOT offered the role or offered any feedback as to why (this was via a recruiter, so expected some). I am glad I wrote this review first since I definitely would have tinged my experience with my disappointment in hindsight.
