I’ve had several interactions with Athena over the past year or so and have found them to be completely unprofessional every time.
I applied to an analytical role a while ago, and was contacted by a recruiter who wanted me to interview for a non-analytical role that wasn’t what I applied for and didn’t match my skill set whatsoever. It was a total waste of time and even the hiring manager said that HR did a bad job assessing my skill set, and should have had me interview for the original role I applied for in the first place.
A while later, a role that did match my skills opened up, and Athena called me and sent me an email. I was out of town at the time and responded a whole 2 business day’s late, which I guess was too delayed for them because they totally ghosted me.
Overall I get the impression that Athena doesn’t take its interactions with candidates very seriously, and probably has a lot of roles to fill to make up for high turnover.
