I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at athenahealth (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2016
Interview
I interviewed in Atlanta. The process was very cookie cutter and what you would expect coming into this scale of a company. A lot of information was given about the role, the company, and benefits. We did get to experience some scenarios we could encounter on the job. The interview did require some knowledge about Athena products, and was also a group interview for the first half. The environment is not competitive and everyone was friendly.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at athenahealth (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
2 part interview. Phone interview was more informative, followed by qualifications based on resume. Face-to-face interview was done in the office where you begin with a group and later separated for individual interviews.

Interview
I was referred by a friend and heard back quickly. I did a video interview and got invited to do a phone interview and attend a job recruitment. I love the quick no nonsense responses. I sent my resume and cover letter on the same day I did the video interview.
