I applied online. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Long Beach, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Applied online. Was called in by a female to go over my resume. Interview was lame. It appeared to me like the HR rep was getting a quota and that's why the interview was taking place. Then I received an email stating I didn't meet the qualifications when it was WF who said I qualified to be interviewed. Maybe it's all for the best I didn't get selected to work here.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Minneapolis, MN)

Most of the interview questions are behavioral in nature, such as tell me about a time when [ Insert topic ] These questions typically were regarding conflict resolution skills, and what you would do in a given situation.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a customer or coworker, and what steps you took to resolve the situation.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Irving, TX) in Aug 2019
Interview
Fast and Casual.
My friend works as an operations clerk and she referred me to her boss so I was already a shoe-in for the position with no prior experience in the field even.
My friend gave my name to the hiring manager and within a week a scouter contacted me to take 2 assessments based on data entry. (speed and accuracy) within the hour I already had an interview set for the next day.
I did not go through a normal interview process. I met with the manager and she gave me a tour of the building. She glanced at my resume only to confirm it was mine and asked me a few questions regarding how I felt about the job it's self, what was required of me and if I was okay with working in a fast paced environment/long hours/overtime/through the weekends and if I wanted a full or temp position.
Basically I already had the job since my background check was already completed and I now start this week.
Long story short....it helps to know someone on the inside. The employees get bonuses for recommending people after the new hire has completed the 90 day "training" period or when the new employee reaches the level that meets their quota for processing datas.
That being said the questions they will ask are most likely going to be basic situational ones.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
How do you deal under pressure working at a fast paced environment?
It was a pretty quick hiring process with only one round of interviewing to go through. Questions were asked from a binder the interviewer brought with her, so your experience may vary.
