WaFd Bank interview questions

I applied online via LinkedIn. After a couple weeks I heard back via email to schedule a phone screening. I completed a phone screening a couple days later with their recruiter and she gave positive feedback and mentioned that she would give a good review and forward me to the district manager. A couple days went by and I heard back in email from the district manager to schedule an in person interview at the local branch for this position. When I arrived for the interview it was surprisingly quiet in branch and I completed the interview process being told that I would hear back at the beginning of the following week. I have had no reply back with either good or bad news and sent a couple follow up emails to them. Update: 2 weeks of silence and received a return call and email that he is backed up and would be making contacts for 2nd interviews. Waiting to hear back 3 business days passed quoted timeline.

The interview focused on fundamental Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in Java, along with concepts related to AWS. In addition to technical questions, it also included behavioral questions to assess problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication abilities.
