I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Nations (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
The application was submitted online through official UN career website. It took about ten days for the recruiters to reach out to me. There was a test before the phone interview. The test was to assess your ability to analyze post-training data, summarize a 60-page UN report and present the findings with PowerPoint/Keynote. Applicants were given three days to accomplish the task. The phone interview took about an hour, interviewers asked typical personality questions, stress reaction questions and very detailed information on your previous experience that you provided in the application.
