Interview
Applied online, received and invitation to complete the online screening, had phone interview. The HR specialist was very friendly during the phone interview and at the end of the interview said that all went well and that I should expect a call within 2 days to schedule the next interview with the hiring manager and explained all the further steps of the hiring process. I have NOT received a call to schedule the next interview as advised, instead I received a rejection email.

First I had to take an online assessment and then about a week after that I received an email to schedule a telephone interview. The my described the job and what it would entail then asked me a few questions. Now I’m waiting to see if I receive a second interview.

Interview
First, you will have a phone interview with a talent recruiter. The recruiter is very much by the book. They will describe the position, potential salary and benefits. The recruiter will ask you questions about your experience and how might that experience help you in this position. Then the recruiter will ask you Situation, Target, Action, and Result (STAR) questions. After, they will tell you if you will interview with manager at the office you applied for.

Describe a time you had to overcome an obstacle at work?
The assessment is based on behavior and it looks for the lack of individuality. If you are someone with a strong work ethic and knowledge of the subject and you honestly (without cherry-picking) answer the questions - you will not get selected. If the system rejects you, you are disqualified. This kind of blind system makes me want to switch carriers, since they obviously don’t care about the quality of employees. Extremely disappointed in the company I praised for over a decade. Very outdated employment process.
