I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UPS (Greenville, SC) in Jun 2015
Interview
Went in and took a tour of the facility also interacted with some of the current package handlers to see what the job consists of. It's nonstop work with minimum pay($11/hr). The free benefits after a year of employment is the balance to the low wage. I was told they like to target the college crowd as they have position they would like to fill if your college degree fits the position.
no interview. come in for orientation and if you get into that youre hired, unless they hire too many then they select randomly from people there and tell the other to apply again.
Setup an appointment with the interviewer. Interviewed with a large group of applicants. They took us on a tour of the building during one of the shifts. It gave us an idea the job consists of and what we would be doing.
There was no interview at all. You are automatically hired and put to work within 20 mins of your first day. You have 30 working days to see and prove if you are fit for the job.
