I received a phone call to schedule a phone interview. In the phone interview, the HR person asked me basic questions: about my CV, why I applied for the position, my experience. She was very nice and made me feel comfortable. At the end she told me that she would give her recommendation to the manager and they would let me know in a week's time.
Next I got invited for an on-site interview with the manager and associate manager. They were both very friendly and we were even joking and laughing a bit. The questions were the typical kind: what are your strengths and weaknesses, where do you see yourself in the company, etc. They asked about my knowledge of Excel and asked a few questions in German, as I had it on my CV. They were really open and answered all my questions happily.
I was actually invited to come back for a second interview that same week to meet with a higher manager who hadn't been able to attend the first one. He mostly told me more about the company and asked me a few of the same questions from the previous interview.
Both interviews each took less than 30 minutes.
About a week later, HR called to offer me the job. Then there was a background screening process which was handled by an outside company. All of my communication after that took place via email. There were a lot of documents that they wanted printed, signed, scanned, and emailed back before the start date.
