I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UBS
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interview. 1 technical + 2 HR rounds.
Decent interview process. Their focus was to assess whether the candidate can work in a volatile environment. Also, it seemed that they wanted language proficiency.
Both the HR rounds were almost similar - aiming to know a bit of my background and other interests.
Technical round was not difficult. Hence, I would say that it was mostly an HR / manager-centric interview process.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Pune) in Nov 2017
Interview
Hiring was for Mumbai(Airoli) location, but interviews were taken at Pune office. (Cabs were provided)
Firstly there was a online test, who cleared it were called for Face to face interview.
At their office, there were 2 technical rounds.
First technical round was more aligned to core Java concepts and oops understanding.
Second technical round was mainly on ability to derive best approach for given problem statements.
Post which HR discussion was there, which was just a formality.
Next day I got a selection mail, asking for some documents.
Don't know what happened in between but I received a next correspondence mail from UBS after 2 weeks containing salary and terms which were no where near the one discussed with HR.
Thereafter multiple telephonic salary discussion were there, which came out fruitful and I was promised a confirmation mail within few days, now past 1.5 month I got a sorry mail from UBS.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UBS in Mar 2010
Interview
I went through two interviews.
The first one was with the head of the team. He's in Japan; hence, it was a 30-min phone interview. Very friendly and nice. He told me more about the positions and asked me some java technical questions. For example, describe garbage collection, difference between vector and array. And then some fit questions, e.g. 5 year plan, why leave current company.
The second one was a face-to-face interview with some VP in another team. He grilled me with all sorts of deep java technical questions.
