The assessment centre started with a quick introduction from HR on how the day will plan out, we were then separated into groups of 4. The first group then had 1-2-1 HR interviews, whilst the other group went into technical interview with two senior managers. The HR interview was very generic and competency based. The technical interview was very intense and in depth knowledge on risk was expected. The process seemed to have a luck element considering the other candidates in my group didn't get the same highly technical questions as I did (different interviewers). Overall, I felt the environment wasn't very relaxing and made candidates feel on edge throughout the day.
