Interview
Recruiter reached out to me and set up a technical phone screen with the manager. The phone screen was a simple coding question with some questions testing my data structure knowledge. Afterwards I was sent a take home assignment for me to complete in 24 hours. I was brought in for an onsite interview at their headquarters two weeks after. The onsite interview consisted of 3 technical interviews and lunch with the manager.

Question 1
Given a sorted array of integers (All inputs are distinct) like [-1, 0, 2, 7, 9], return an integer in which the index matches the value it contains.
On TripAdvisor’s website for hotels, it gets 15 million clicks on hotels each day, and there are 1 million distinct hotels. We would like to display urgency messages when a user clicks on a hotel. If we get more than 10 user clicks for the specific hotel in the past 10 minutes, display a message to the user saying 10 other users have looked at this hotel in the past 10 minutes (trying to let the users feel the sense or urgentness). If no more than 10 users in the past 10 minutes, look at the past hour and display message if there are more than 10 clicks in the past hour. If no more than 10 user clicks in the past hour, look at the past 24 hours, and display message if there are more than 10 user clicks. Otherwise, display no message. How would you implement this feature?

Interview
Good, although, sometimes struggling in providing you information about when interview will be leaving you wondering. Technical interview was good, I went into in uncertain as I wasn't sure about if I could solve a challenge. Recruiter was very nice and informative as well. Gutted to not progress onto next stages but they layout whole process for you and provide with you with feedback even if you fail the technical interview.
I hope to re-apply soon when I become more confident with approaching technical assessments cause these do not correlate with your day to day duties as SE.

A few rounds of technical interviews and hr was done . A technical test was sent to me and an online live coding session was also set . The overall process was good

Looks like a demanding process. I didn’t get through the initial stage interview due to not having great answers for the screening questions so I can’t tell much on what comes later
