I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TransPerfect (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
After I sent my Application i received a phonecall from someone at Transperfect saying my CV was impressive and that I've made it through to the next round which is a test. It was a 'compare and proof-read' test, she arranged a time to send the test to me by email and I had to email the completed work back exactly 2 hours later. I then received an email the next day saying my results were outstanding and she asked me to come in for an interview the next day.
On the day I waited about 15 mins for my interviewers to arrive. They were young and polite and asked me questions about my CV. They asked lots of typical questions like why this job? why are you leaving your last job? where do you see yourself in 5 years? etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about time management, and strangely they warned me that the working hours here are not set at all. that sometimes employees can stay up to 11pm just to finish off their work. this was not appealing at all.
First call with HR, then with Dept Manager, then in-person interview with hiring managers. The whole process was quick, hiring managers were lovely and the questions were aligned with the role. Interview with Detp Manager was easy.
5 interviews (1 in person) for an entry level position and 2700-3300 salary/month. Told me only at 2nd interview that I'm expected to work overtime and weekends all the time.
