I applied online. I interviewed at TransPerfect (Paris) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process itself was initially fast and well structured. There were five interview rounds in total, and I progressed to the fourth round. Throughout most of the process, communication from HR was clear and responsive. However, after the final round I attended, I sent a follow-up email to ask about the status of my application and never received a response. There were no updates or closure at all.
Unfortunately, this matched what I had already read in other reviews, and it was disappointing to experience it firsthand. Being left without any feedback or final response after multiple interview rounds and a test feels unprofessional and disrespectful. At the very least, candidates deserve to be informed whether they have been selected or not.
During the interviews, several managers also emphasized expectations of working beyond standard 9–5 hours and “acting like an owner” of the company. While commitment is important, this expectation felt misaligned with the compensation discussed, which was around €32k annually — a relatively low salary for Paris. Overall, the work culture appeared closer to a US-style environment than a French one, which may not suit everyone and based on the interview discussions, there seemed to be a strong expectation of working beyond standard hours, which gave me the impression that work-life balance may be limited.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TransPerfect (Denver, CO) in Oct 2025
Interview
The communication through the process was ok. At first I was told there would only be 3 interviews but it ended up being 5.
First interview: recruiter
Second: you take 2 skill tests and the expect a very high score before being considered.
Second interview: with your direct manager
Third interview: with your direct manager’s manager
After third interview you are to provide 3 case studies from your local area where you see potential new clients
Fourth: in person interview, I had one with the VP
Fifth: virtual interview with president of sales
I had one follow-up before Thanksgiving and was promised I’d be contacted the next week and I have been successfully ghosted even with follow-ups and thank you emails. I reached out to the VP personally, and still nothing.
It feels ironic because they wanted someone that has the ability to pivot but they can’t pivot themselves.
