      Marketing Manager Interview

      2 Dec 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ticketer in Nov 2025

      Interview

The initial interview was positive and well-structured. I moved to the second round, which felt less aligned with that experience. The interviewer’s questions were lengthy and unclear, with a strong emphasis on very recent experience. In my case, that experience was more specialised, so I pivoted and highlighted previous roles and broader responsibilities that were directly relevant to the position. If the expectation was for recent experience to be the primary deciding factor, and if my specialist expertise was not considered central to their strategy, it would have been more efficient not to progress my application further. I wish the company well, though I felt the process could have been managed in a more constructive and considerate way.
