After an online relatively standard application, I got a call asking if I could come into the office for an interview. Had the interview with two employees who worked at AME and was a very down-to-earth conversation with some jokes, but also a lot of serious questions, and they did not ask standard questions. Heard afterwards they are primarily looking for someone who is well-rounded and is ready for an experience in a different culture. Social skills and experiences are more important than grades.

1 interview, niet zo moeilijk. Project manager probeert in een uur in te schatten of je in staat bent om te presteren in een compleet andere cultuur. Je CV wordt gebruikt om structuur te geven aan het gesprek. Je krijgt wat standaard vragen over wat je hebt geleerd van functies, ervaringen en commissies op je CV. Ik denk dat de project manager vooral opzoek is naar iemand die om kan gaan met diversiteit, (in termen van onderwijs, cultuur, levensstandaard enz.) al internationale ervaring heeft en een open mentaliteit.
