The 1st interview was with the Regional TA Manager and he was very positive about my experience and communication skills, etc... However, he was aware that I was lacking the experience in the specific field in which I would be working and recommended me to proceed to the 2nd round for a different, yet the same-level position than the one for which I had originally applied. The (to-be) 2nd interviewer who is the hiring manager rejected me even before interviewing me without any feedback. After all, it was just a waste of time.
