I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Children's Place
Interview
I applied online a couple months ago and the store lead called me asking me for an interview. I had completely forgotten that I applied here since it was so long ago. I did my research and was prepared for the questions being asked. Most of the interview questions was on this site so there was no surprises there. The lead liked me and told me I would get a call on Monday. Monday passed and no call so I called on Tuesday only to be told they will get back to me on Thursday. Thursday came and still no call so I called on Friday. I was told that they are uncertain about me and not giving me a direct answer whether I got the job or not. 2 weeks later they finally called me and asked if I'm still interested. I was pretty much Plan B and I guess they couldn't find anyone else so they just chose me
This store only offers 8-16hrs a week for part time workers and $8 an hour. Since I'm a full time student, this works out great since this is my first real job.
Overall I wish this process was easier and less complicated. But it's worth it in the end.
