I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Body Shop in May 2012
Interview
The initial process of applying online is rather tedious and long, but if you don't mind it, it takes about a half-hour or so. The experience I had was quite negative, with the store manager treating me incredibly rudely and being rude to the employees while we were interviewing. I was rushed to interview ASAP despite informing them I was out of the state and then when I wasn't able to attend my final interview due to graduation from school, I was informed I was not dependable enough and was not 'fashionable' enough. They have lost their way from being an eco-friendly and kind, fun store to work in and are far more concerned with competing with stores like Sephora. It's simply unfortunate.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Colchester, England) in Aug 2018
Interview
Whole process took around a month, which idk, could be expected for this kind of role? Was very pleasant; the manager was lovely as was the rest of the team. It was a positive experience. Role play as assistant manager where I had to brief the team on the KPIs for the day (15/20 mins) and then achieve them.
