Interview
I was recruited through campus.
Recruitment includes Aptitude exam and personal interview.
I belong to EIS stream.
I believe students with CGPA of 8 and above are called for EIS interview. Mine was 8.2/10.

Mainly technical questions and then some managerial questions at the end.
My Interview questions are:

2. Area of interest
3. Draw shear force and bending moment diagram for cantilever, SSB (both point load and udl)
4. shear stress and direct stress in different beam cross sections
5. Where riveting is needed and where welding is needed in aircraft manufacturing
6. Why fighter aircraft use shorter wings. Compare them with civil aircraft.
7. Draw a layout of fighter aircraft and a passenger aircraft and compare.
8. Do you know any CAD software?
9. Which level are you in CATIA? (basic or advanced)
10. Will you be able to answer questions from Engineering Graphics?
11. Have you ever traveled in aircraft? I said no. They asked, why not? The cost is reduced now. (to relax as I was tired answering to above questions).
12. What are the EIS projects TCS is currently doing?
13. Any of your seniors working in EIS? how is your contact with them?
14. Opt for any higher studies now? (If you are in a dilemma whether higher studies or job, don't let them know you have PG in mind).
Some questions asked to my friends:
If your core company comes and recruits you, which one will you choose? TCS or other? (believe me, many students didn't answer well for this and they didn't get selected. So always keep your company which you are interviewing first)

I applied through university. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services
Interview
After clearing the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT), I attended a single interview round that combined technical and HR questions. The interviewer focused on my projects, programming knowledge, and understanding of current technologies. One of the main discussion topics was the difference between traditional software systems and AI-based systems. The interview was conversational, and the interviewer evaluated problem-solving ability, communication skills, and technical understanding. The overall experience was positive and the difficulty level was average.
