Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services
Interview
Multiple initial phone interviews for the position, followed by a technical interview and managerial interview. Got email for additional managerial interview, but not entirely sure why there was no response from sender. Bounced through at least 5 people through the whole process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you're in downtown Chicago and you have a hotdog stand to sell hotdogs, how many hotdogs would you need to bring to sell?
Went through 3 rounds, one recruiter screen, one technical lead, and one managerial round. First round, the recruiter was late by 23 minutes. Second round, the technical lead was on time but took 15 minutes to set up the questions. The second round was more theoretical, as the questions were based on how you approach issues and how you think. I was also asked technical coding questions at the end. In the third round, the team manager was rude and tactless, cut me off multiple times, and didn't allow me to explain my thought process in response to his questions.

Interview
recruiter calls for an initial phone screen, a technical Interview with a manager, a final call with a leader, or gets an email with an offer. Knowing the basics of Java, SQL, and DB Concepts is enough.
It was good the interviewer was providing sufficient time to answer the questions. The interviewer asked basic questions on data structures, SQL, Python programming also some on the projects I had done before
