Interview
I have attended TCS off-campus drive in month of June 2019, which based on National Qualifier Test (NQT). There are following rounds:
- First round is conducted through online test and held in your nearest test centers, which
include following sections:
- Verbal Reasoning (English)(MCQ based)
- Quants and Logical reasoning (MCQ based)
- Questions on C programming and data structure (MCQ based)
- One out of two C program you have to write
- Second round is Technical, Managerial and HR interview:
- After clearing online test you get an e-mail for interview process, which was held in
TCS campus at my time. If you have given online test during college days, your second
round will be conducted through video conferencing at your nearest interview
location, after clearing that, you will called for further interview process in TCS
campus.
- After clearing all rounds you will get selection mail from TCS.
- You can prepare for any IT companies from websites like Faceprep, Pripinsta,

Question 1
- C- program to check given year is leap year ......(asked in Coding section of NQT)
- During interviews technical person can ask you to write C-programs, basic concepts of C and data
structure, OOPs concepts, detail description of your final year project. Questions on skill sets
that you have mentioned in your resume. Prepare all topics or questions from your resume. DO
NOT COPY PATE anything on your resume, prepare your resume by your own, as you describe
yourself on it.
- HR and Managerial personal asks you simple questions like Introduce your self, Hobbies, if you
are non-IT background they will definitely asks you Why IT Company?, etc,..

Verdict: Did not clear Technical Round
Exam (December 16)
Appeared for the TCS NQT on-campus exam in December. The test covered aptitude, reasoning, and coding sections — standard for TCS placements.
Technical Interview (Second Week of January)
The interview lasted around 45 minutes. Being the first candidate, the interviewer was highly energetic and had high expectations. I was asked four coding/technical questions:
DSA (String-based): Find all duplicate characters in a string and their frequency of occurrence.
HTML/CSS: Design and code an HTML page with a navigation bar and lists.
OOP Concept: Create a Vehicle class demonstrating object-oriented programming principles.
Project Overview: A brief discussion about my academic project.
Result
After the technical interview, I was asked to wait for the managerial round. However, after two hours, the interviewer reviewed my performance and informed me that I was not moving forward. I was eliminated at the technical round itself.
Tip for future candidates: Be thorough with DSA, OOP concepts, and basic web development. The interview can be intense if you're among the first candidates.

Nqt exam consist of aptitude and coding questions then face to face interview. Was very easy both written and interview round . There is only one interview consist of technical managerial and HR

Interview
It is very simple and clean asked about basic CS fundamentals and resume based questions. Here TR and MR are combined and MR asked about your mental strength. Next round is HR where they asked about myself.
