I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Midway, GA) in May 2011
Interview
I was contacted by a target recruiter and asked if I would be available to speak on the phone regarding a Group Leader Position. I set up a time and was asked general questions about my experience and background. The initial interview was more of a screening process and led up to the actual phone interview. I was then asked to complete an online survey (which was more difficult than they made it sound) and you have to complete it in one sitting which takes 1-2 hours and ranges from logical reasoning to mathematical equations. The day after the initial interview I was asked to participate in a second phone interview in which I was asked very specific Tell me about a time when.... questions. I was not called back after the second interview.

Describe a time when you made a big mistake and tell us how you handled it.
She called me about a month and a half after I applied, I had pretty much forgotten about the job by then. We set up a preliminary phone interview. She called 15 after our appointment and asked me basic questions, it seemed like it went alright but I got an email a week later that said they were pursuing other candidates. Total waste of time.

Question 1
How did you hear about this job? She was really intent on asking about how I heard about the distribution center and this position. I had to pretty much convince her I was interested in this job. Why would I apply if I wasn't interested?
