      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Portland, OR) in Jul 2020

      Interview

Process of 3 interviews, one phone screening with a store director, and two telephones/ virtual interviews with recruiter and district directors. The timeline took roughly a month or so to coordinate meetings, and a recruiter was available to answer any questions I had.

      Question 1

They asked for questions to be answered using the star method and as I recall, one was focused on a guest-centered mentality.

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target in May 2009

      Interview

I went to a recruiting breakfast, they called me a few days later to ask for an interview (I hadn't even filled out an application at that point). I was interviewed by a manager at one store, then interviewed with the manager at the store I wanted to work at, and then afterwards I had to set up a 3rd interview with the district manager. I was called within a day or two and was told I got the position

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Orange City, FL) in Apr 2008

      Interview

I attended the info session at my college and afterwards introduced myself to some of the recruiters. I submitted my resume online and was given an on campus interview; two half hour interviews with two people each. Everyone was very nice and understood that the position was for an internship so they weren't very tough. They mostly asked general behavioral questions like "tell me about a time when..." do demonstrate past leadership. I was then asked to drive to their regional headquarters for three 1:1 interviews that were pretty much more of the same. A few weeks later I got a call from HR with a quick phone interview and the offer was made.

Tell me about a time when you had to be a leader in a diffficult situation and how you handled it?
