I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target in Mar 2016
Interview
Applied online was called back 4 days later. Did the first two interviews at the store. The last interview was with the district manager over the phone. After doing the interview it is clear that Target is a company that does care about their employees. They made sure that as a manager I would treat their employees fairly. Friendly atmosphere. Just be yourself. If you are not being yourself it will come out. There was a lot of situational questions.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target
Interview
Three step interview process. One interview with an ETL, another with the STL & HR, and a final interview the DTL. THE overall process is moderately difficult. The questions are vague behavioral questions that make you come up with specific examples of who, what, when, where, and why. I will find out this week whether or not I get the job. I'll update my post when I find out.

1st interview- Tell me about a time you had to achieve a goal by overcoming an obstacle.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Queen Creek, AZ) in Apr 2015
Interview
It took from 10 am to 12 pm..I was interviewed by the team leader and HR leader. Did an assessment and personality test then watched a short video. The last person i talked to offered me the job, 8.75 with $1 comp so 9.75 from 4 to 8 and then goes down to 8.75 unfortunately but I needed a new job, previous job (too much drama, hair salon lol)
They mainly ask you how or what you would do in a situation. I could tell that they liked me because I made them laugh by saying how much nicer and "high class" target is compared to walmart. As far as drug test they do drug test but either they were desperate or didn't care but i was not required to submit for a drug test (thank god, less time waiting to actually start the job)
Finishing out my week at my old job and waiting for orientation so I say the process (if you have a job currently and need to put a one or two week notice in) takes about 1 to 2 weeks. Orientation is 4 hours paid, most likely your lower pay depending on when they want you in.
Side note: They write down your responses to the questions asked
