HR set up a screener interview, and then I met with the hiring manager a week later. It was a casual convo with some structured questions. I thanked them and followed up. A week later, HR let me know I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback but they never got back to me, which was discouraging. Please normalize giving feedback to interviewees instead of just saying "We've decided to move forward with another candidate." As an interviewee, it can feel sometimes embarrassing to ask for feedback and then get ghosted. That's all.
