I interviewed at State Library of Queensland (Brisbane)
Interview
It was a 3 person panel, I received the questions 10 mins before interview and could use that time to prepare & write notes etc. They were all very friendly and follow up phone call was lovely, even though I didn’t get an offer.

Question 1
Describe a time where you had to deal with a challenging customer situation?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Library of Queensland (Brisbane) in Mar 2021
Interview
Panel interview with two panel members, and additional presentation element. The interview I found challenging but interesting and I thought the presentation was a great idea. The interviewers were really lovely and a pleasure to speak to.
Ultimately I didn’t add enough detail on some of the questions and didn’t get the job but the hiring managers said I did well. The hiring process was extremely competitive as it was a great thing to start out your library career but not very high entry requirements. Hundreds and hundreds of people applied for the job. So you really need to stand out and have great answers.
