The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Starbucks (Concord, CA) in Jul 2010
Interview
I turned in paper applications which i found online and typed in my information, unknown to me starbucks had discontinued the paper applications, but at one location a superviser was very nice and told me to come back the next day, so i did and the manager sat and had a one on one unofficial interview, then the next day she called and told me I had an interview at another location and that went well, but its been about 4 days and havent received word yet.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
