The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2009
Interview
Applied online through the company website. Received a call from HR 2 weeks later to set up a phone interview and get more information about my resume. The phone interview with HR was pretty standard: standard questions about times I've had conflicts with team members, how do I handle an overwhelming workload and last minute changes to my projects, what is my philosophy when managing people and leading teams, etc. Next was the one-on-one interview with the team lead, mostly discussed my previous work experience and the projects that the team was working on. I asked a lot of questions about the rile I would play, what things the team was lacking ,etc and the interviewer was very receptive to my questions. The final interview was the panel interview: it was a cross-functional panel interview with the other teams I would be working with in this role. They wanted to know about my previous experience working with cross-functional teams and how I handled difficult situations, problems when teams didn't understand each others wants and needs, how do I manage teams that may be in separate locations, etc. Then I got the offer about 2 months later. Their hiring process takes an exceptionally long time, and I have heard that from a lot of people so don't be discouraged if you get an interview and then don't hear for a while.

3 stages. Recruiter, hiring manager and director.
Not too challenging as they are new to Product, but the people were lovely.
Each one lasted around an hour.
Recruiter would call after to give any feedback available which I thought was great.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks!
Fairly long process. Included a few phone interviews followed by video call with the team and a project you present during the final interview with the person you report to and the team you’d be working with.

Interview
Too long but worth it in the end because they let you know immediately if you got the job. They do ask a lot of technical questions and want to know about your motivitation to work for this company.
