I applied online. I interviewed at SpearmintLOVE (Scottsdale, AZ)
Interview
Overall the interview process went really well. I met with the owner and a couple other employees. However, I was disappointed that it's been a few weeks and I never received a "thanks, but no thanks" email.
Understanding that not all employers send a rejection email but they should. It's common courtesy to at least get back to the applicant to let them know if they are moving forward in the process or not. I had read another review on Glassdoor prior to my interview and I had seen that someone else had interviewed and never heard back so it's not surprising that I'm not hearing back. Please do better moving forward with other applicants!

Interview
Pretty casual interview overall. Lots of information given about the company since it is a start up. Was asked some behavioral questions, questions about resume, and self. The best advice I would give is to be yourself and to be friendly!

Interview
Interesting. Like other wrote, the interview took place in the warehouse. I was emailed no more than 5 minutes after I applied through their website and asked when I was available to come in. He said my cover letter was one of the best he had ever received! I went in just 2 days later to meet with him. Very casual vibes because of the location of the office space being within the order processing. After meeting with the CEO/CFO for nearly 90 minutes, it was clear that the position could go one of a few ways. However, he felt that it was important that I take the time to assess if I was still interested in the position knowing that they are a bit of a start up company, but growing fast. I emailed them the next day after thinking about it and received no response. I decided to wait a week to see if he was busy or still weighing out his options. I emailed a week or so later simply asking to be sure he received my email and to let me know if there’s any other questions I could answer. It has now been 2 weeks since that email and I never heard back. I would never expect to have a job after leaving an interview, but I do expect to be responded to. After reading a few other comments on Glassdoor it sounds like one or two others had a similar experience. My suggestion to Spearmint would be not to waste people’s time if you still haven’t committed to a job role. Or maybe that was just his way of telling me I wasn’t what they were looking for without telling me directly that I wasn’t what they were looking for....either way. I am disappointed that it wasn’t handled with more professionalism. I would hate to know that my business was gaining that type of reputation with potential workers/partners down the road.

Question 1
He asked several times if I was put off by the nature of the office/work environment given that their computers were set up on tables within the warehouse where they are processing online orders.
