I had 3 extensive interviews for Spacebase for the role of Senior SEO Manager (2 with the CMO and 1 with the CEO). The interviews were not particularly challenging, as any of them had much knowledge about SEO. We mainly discussed my past experiences, working methods and ethics. After my last interview, I received a 2-line email saying that they "can’t consider me". As it's a rather weird phrasing to reject a candidate, I reached out to the CMO to get a bit of insight into their decision. I never heard back from her again. After 3 interviews, I actually think a candidate deserves proper feedback. It's part of a respectful recruiting process. I deeply believe that the way a company treats candidates tells so much about its values...
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Spacebase (Berlin) in Nov 2018

Interview
Short phone call/chat from a guy which was very pleasant who said afterwards, that he would like to book me in with a interview with who would have been my future manager. I had a Webcam interview a few days later. After the Webcam interview she said she would let me know if I got the job after the weekend after having time to think it. I was left hanging until the following Tuesday, when I got an email from the first guy giving me a no. A lot of time was wasted over such a low paying job.
